Elder and Sister Noorlander
1973-1974

Elder Daniel Choc, son of Pres. Pablo Choc. After he was killed (see article in next column), a request by Elder Noorlander to the First Presidency opened the way for Elder Choc to receive his temple endowment before waiting the customery one year after his death. See the following letters.

Elder Choc’s mother and two brothers were killed in the earthquake. One has to believe that President Pablo Choc, Daniel’s father, was one of the great and noble ones in the world before this one. He never lost faith with God or his covenants.

The funeral was held on President Choc's property. The canopy over the top of the casket were made with drapes taken from the chapel.
